Managing Editor: Mountain West
This position serves to manage reporters from 6 stations across 5 states that are participating in the Mountain West Regional Journalism Collaborative. This CPB-funded project is based out of the Boise State Public Radio offices, and the editor will manage content from member stations around the Mountain West.
The participating stations are Boise State Public Radio (based in Boise, Idaho), KUNC (based in Greeley, Colorado), KUER (based in Salt Lake City, Utah), Wyoming Public Media (based in Laramie, Wyoming), Yellowstone Public Radio (based in Billings, Montana), and KRCC (based in Colorado Springs, Colorado).
This project focuses on the unique issues in the urban and rural areas of the Rocky Mountain West. The four main areas of editorial focus are Land & Water Resource Management, Issues of Growth in the Expanding West, Issues Facing The Rural West, and Western Culture & Heritage. The stations, under leadership from the Managing Editor, will work collaboratively to highlight these issues for a broad range of listeners.
