This weekend KRCC premiers the TED Radio Hour at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. NPR touts the TED Radio Hour as "A journey through fascinating ideas, astonishing inventions, and new ways to think and create. Based on riveting TED Talks from the world's most remarkable minds." You can learn more at npr.org/programs/ted-radio-hour/. We're excited for the new addition.
Also on Saturday, we're going to try something different with the 4 p.m. music program slot. Starting this Saturday we'll be alternating between eTown and NPR's All Songs Considered, starting with eTown tomorrow. We've decided to return to eTown, but with the option to air the show we feel is the cream of the crop. And, on off weeks, we'll air two, half an hour episodes of NPR's All Songs Considered, keeping you tied in with everything that's happening at NPR Music. We hope you'll enjoy the variety.
Later this Fall, look for KRCC's program survey. We're working with our Community Advisory Board to create an in depth survey about KRCC, its programs and presence in the community. We look forward to seeing your responses.
Also, don't forget that it's EarlyBird time right now. Join or renew your membership with KRCC today and ensure that you get an EarlyBird card and help shorten our on-air membership drive that begins Monday, October 21st, 2013.
