- Prosecutors in the case of former El Paso County Sheriff Terry Maketa's trial have asked for a delay. The Gazette reports Maketa, facing charges including corruption, was set for a trial date at the end of the month. The paper reports the request came Tuesday, after one prosecutor stepped down from the case.
