HSPPR Pet of the Day: Dester

If you are looking for a friendly, mellow little apartment dog, I am waiting for you! I'm Dester, and I came in as a stray. HSPPR we weren’t able to find my owners. So now I am looking for a new home to love me forever! This 4-year-old neutered Chihuahua is great on a leash, and I love going for walks with my special people. I don't get upset at much, and I enjoy meeting new friends, humans and doggies alike.

HSPPR Pet of the Day: Bomino

Hi. I'm Bomino. I would love to snuggle with you even more than I love snuggling with my toys! This 4-year-old neutered male was VERY shy when I first came to HSPPR. I've been hanging out in their surgery center while staff and volunteers worked with me to build my confidence and trust. Although I'm still shy at first, I warm up well and enjoy being around other animals. I'm more active in the mornings and evenings and love to play with toys. I'm not really fond of being held, but I like a good chin scratch.

HSPPR Pet of the Day: Maggie

Hi, I'm Maggie. I've been waiting at HSPPR for more than a month for my brand new home; I came in as a stray, and I needed some dental work and had some health problems that HSPPR helped me with. I am ready to find her new home NOW! I get stressed easily in the shelter environment with so much going on and so many other dogs around me. I'm having trouble keeping my weight up here, and I really need to find a calm but active new home that will keep me safe and loved for the rest of my life.

HSPPR Pet of the Day: Jillian

Hi there. I'm Jillian, a beautiful 3-year-old long-haired spayed tortie. I can be VERY shy when you first meet me; in fact, I might spend the first couple of days at your house making sure there are no monsters hiding under your beds. But if you give me some time and gentle attention, I will show you how sweet of a kitty I can be!  And shy kitties really make the best pets - because once we trust you, you will be our ENTIRE world!
