HSPPR Pet of the Day: Keena

Hi there! I'm Keena, a very sweet 6-year-old spayed brindle pit bull mix. I came in to HSPPR at the end of August with a severe leg injury, and I had to have ACL surgery. I've been in foster care with HSPPR since the surgery, and they say I am all better and ready to find my new home! My foster family absolutely loved me; they said I am great with all types of other animals, especially cats. I actually became very good friends with the resident cat at my foster home. I can sit, and I know lots of other basic commands.

HSPPR Pet of the Day: Nester

My name, Lucky, has served me well. This Lucky chap came in as a stray to HSPPR. I am missing my front right leg and my right eye! HSPPR isn't sure what happened to me, but my wounds were expertly taken care of and I appear to be in no pain. Plus, I get around just fine despite my missing front leg! I am a social fellow; I love meeting new people friends and exploring new homes. I'm not quite as friendly with kitty friends, so I would do best as an only cat. If you are looking for a spunky kitty who is sure to make you as Lucky as I am, come adopt me today!

HSPPR Pet of the Day: Bomino

Hi. I'm Bomino. I would love to snuggle with you even more than I love snuggling with my toys! This 4-year-old neutered male was VERY shy when I first came to HSPPR. I've been hanging out in their surgery center while staff and volunteers worked with me to build my confidence and trust. Although I'm still shy at first, I warm up well and enjoy being around other animals. I'm more active in the mornings and evenings and love to play with toys. I'm not really fond of being held, but I like a good chin scratch.

HSPPR Pet of the Day: Maggie

Hi, I'm Maggie. I've been waiting at HSPPR for more than a month for my brand new home; I came in as a stray, and I needed some dental work and had some health problems that HSPPR helped me with. I am ready to find her new home NOW! I get stressed easily in the shelter environment with so much going on and so many other dogs around me. I'm having trouble keeping my weight up here, and I really need to find a calm but active new home that will keep me safe and loved for the rest of my life.
