Some Residents Allowed Back into Beulah Area Homes

Residents of Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park and the Twin Buttes subdivision in Pueblo County are being allowed back into their homes today, after being evacuated due to the Beulah Hill Fire. 

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says residents need to go to the 4-H Building at the Colorado State Fair Grounds beginning at 4 PM to pick up a required pass enabling re-entry.  ID and vehicle registration is required.

All other evacuation orders remain in place.

  • 3R and Signal Mountain
  • The Beulah School evacuated students to Pleasant View Middle School. 
  • Pine Drive 
  • North Signal Mountain 
  • Extended North Creek
  • Oldham Road
  • Beulah proper

 

 

Pre-Evacuations:

  • Waterbarrel Estates

There's a community meeting scheduled for 5:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Roncalli STEM Academy for those affected by the fire.  That's at 4202 Highway 78 in Pueblo.

The Pueblo City-County Health Department is encouraging those who lost power during the fire to consider discarding perishables that have been out of safe temperatures.  Designated dumpsters will be made available.

As of this morning, the fire had burned about 4845 acres with 0% containment.  Eight homes are confirmed destroyed.
