The aerial tramway was once a key attraction at Royal Gorge Park before it was destroyed in a 2013 fire.

The park has been busy installing new attractions to replace those lost in the June 2013 fire. The biggest new feature is a 2,400-foot-long zip line across the gorge. And there's more:

Additional attractions include: the brand new aerial tramway with 6 shiny new gondolas traveling right next to the zipline, the Royal Rush Skycoaster( an extra pay feature), the Plaza Theater, the Mini-Train, a Children’s Playland with new state-of-the-art playground equipment, carousel, and water pad. Visitors can also enjoy the Bridge View Barbecue and Cliff Side Patio, and a new trolley system that takes guests across the bridge.

The festivities start at Friday with speeches and live music, and run through the weekend.
